In 2020 a group of friends from Hononegah High School got together and decided that they needed to give back to the Community that had given them so much. Following the untimely loss of two of their classmates, they decided this new Foundation would honor their memory and create an on-going legacy.
The Mission of The Don’t Be Next Foundation is simple:
To give back to our community in ways to provide
people with better lives.
In exchange for your generous donation, you will receive tax credit per our status as an IL 501(c)(3), (#86-3214480). In addition, we will recognize you on our website (www.dontbenext.org), signage on course, and on all marketing materials. Your donation allows us to raise funds that will be distributed to a local charity following the event. Our DBN Board respectfully requests your support for our event as an Prize Sponsor. All products received will be used for fund-raising through prizes, silent auction and sponsor gifts.
Tournament is a shotgun start at 9am. Rate is $125/person including golf cart. Space is limited so please sign up today. A portion of all green’s fees go to the DBN for our year-end donation.
In Case of inclement weather and we have suspended play or cancel the entire event there are NO REFUNDS, all monies collected will be considered a monetary donation to the DBN Foundation.

Following golf, we will host a short reception on the Clubhouse Patio where you can enjoy a cold beverage and catch up with old friends. Kick Ass Prizes will be drawn as well!
The Don’t Be Next Foundation Golf Classic features several on-course contests:

• 50/50; half of the pot goes to you; the other half supports The Don’t Be Next Foundation.
$50 Super Tickets are available for purchase which include:
(10) Kick Ass Prize tickets, (2) mulligans, (2) drink tickets good for beer,
soda or water, and a sleeve of DBN logo Titleist Pro V1 golf balls.
Kick Ass Prize Tickets for our great prize packages will be be also available for $10 each, 3 for $20 or 10 for $50.
