It’s a good day to give!! What started out as an initial $500 donation four years ago, has now blossomed into a $3000 give to the Old Stone Pantry in historic Rockton, Illinois. Thank you Donn and all of the volunteers for your continued hard work to provide food for community members in need. Speaking of giving, come on out to the Roscoe VFW Saturday, November 23 from 12-3 as the Don’t Be Next Foundation will be giving out 100 turkeys to local Veterans as part of the inaugural “Turkeys Giving Turkeys” event. Come out, thank a vet, enjoy a beverage and kick off the holidays with a feel good moment.
June Round Up With Beef-A-Roo
Starting June 1, this Saturday, The DBN Foundation has teamed up with Beef-A-Roo for a “round up” for the ENTIRE month of June. You simply order and round up your total to the nearest dollar and the difference goes directly to the Don’t Be Next Foundation. Beef-A-Roo has been a staple in the 815 community for decades bringing you deliciousness and smiles with their cheese fries, roast beef sandwiches and the onion rings. So why not spend the month of June supporting a local restaurant as well as supporting one of the top charitable organizations in the area. We appreciate the opportunity Beef-A-Roo has given us and would sincerely appreciate mass amounts of participation from you and your friends and family.
